Housing Reforms

My Plan

Owning a home in Australia has become a distant dream for many, and even renting is turning into a financial nightmare. While wages stagnate, house prices and rents are skyrocketing—pushing families, young Australians, and even full-time workers closer to homelessness. If a full-time worker can’t afford to live in the city they work in, the system is broken.

The government claims to care about affordability, yet they allow foreign investors, property hoarders, and developers to drive prices up while doing little to increase supply where it’s actually needed. Meanwhile, first-home buyers are drowning in debt just to secure a basic home.

We need real action—not just empty promises.

  1. Capping foreign ownership
  2. Discouraging excessive investment properties
  3. Boosting public & affordable housing must be priorities.
  4. Access to Super fund for House deposit
  5. Federal goverment funding push for more houses.
